When they say it takes a village, they mean it.
Below are several ways you can help
Haus of McCoy.
Haus of McCoy is community driven and funded. Our work is a labor of love and a dedication to generations before us and a gift to generations after us. This is beautiful and it's just words and a thought without action.
To achieve real impact, we need funds. We need our community far and wide to invest in this work and to help us deepen the impact of supporting and uplifting queer and trans youth.
We can do amazing things.
Monthly ongoing contributions keep this work moving forward and help us meet the needs of the youth we serve. Please consider a monthly donation as an investment to help sustain our work for the queer and trans youth of Lawrence. Monthly donations may be given by paper check, credit card, or electronic bank withdrawal.
Want to make a larger donation? As a new organization, we are committed to learning, problem solving, and shifting our priorities to match the needs of our community. We hold firm a no-strings-attached policy for all large donations. Please contact Hannah Bolton to discuss donation options, including multi-year pledges.
Pledge a percentage of your income or business profits. Haus of McCoy is looking for businesses, corporations, and individuals to pledge an ongoing percentage of their income. This is a great way for people to authentically commit to living in alignment with their values.
Donate your real estate. The Haus of McCoy has big dreams to see real estate redistribution that benefits queer and trans individuals in the Lawrence community. Do you have real estate you are willing to donate? Please contact Hannah Bolton.
Haus of McCoy is dedicated to offering our community any of the goods needed to get through a day. Whether it's toiletries, food, clothing, or even event tickets, we want to ensure their needs are met in every way possible.
We're constantly working to stock our shelves. If you have anything you'd like to donate, we're constantly looking for goods. Please contact us or visit our blog for a list of our current needs.

Haus of McCoy values a holistic community engagement approach. People and money are power. We’re here to combine these two drivers in a different, more equitable way that results in immediate and positive impacts for the queer and trans youth of Lawrence. Our organization centers our most marginalized members. Come get centered with us.
Haus of McCoy is powered by volunteers and the care of the community. You can help by making a monetary donation, an in-kind donation, or by volunteering your time and skills. We consider your participation an investment in the future of Lawrence, one that is more loving and equitable.
Please see the below list for volunteer opportunities, ongoing or one time, and submit our volunteer questionnaire. Following submission, you will be contacted by a member of our team for additional screening.
